Jonathan Jordan29 May 2026Dr. Alok Ahlawat is, without a doubt, the best dentist I've ever had. I started having complications with a root canal and crown that I had done a couple of years ago in Georgia. After being transferred to Arizona for work, the tooth became infected and started causing problems. I called Dr. Ahlawat's office and was able to get an appointment the very same day. After taking X-rays, Dr. Ahlawat determined that the previous root canal had failed and the tooth needed retreatment. I was worried I'd have to wait days or even weeks for the procedure and continue dealing with the pain, but he reassured me that he could take care of it immediately. That same day, Dr. Ahlawat performed the root canal on one of my back molars. The procedure took about an hour, and I experienced virtually no pain or complications. He prescribed the appropriate antibiotics and pain medication and made sure I knew exactly what to expect during recovery. What really sets Dr. Ahlawat apart is the level of care he and his staff provide. They didn't just perform the procedure and send me on my way, they followed up multiple times afterward, including several days later, to make sure I was healing properly and wasn't experiencing any issues. I've seen dozens of dentists throughout my life, especially because I travel frequently for work, and Dr. Alok Ahlawat is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. His professionalism, skill, bedside manner, and genuine concern for his patients are second to none. They explained everything, answered every question and it went so smoothly. The dentist even answered my call after hours and answered all my questions again. That said, the team at Arizona Dental Heights completely changed my experience. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, non-judgmental, and made me feel comfortable despite my years of neglect. They put together a clear, thoughtful treatment plan, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I can actually see a path forward. These poor reviews, I've got no idea what they're talking about these good reviews being fake, I'm a real patient, "I'm a real boy" lol anyway I am legitimate person, & patient, & really love this place. My last DDS was in Michigan, & I had him from a youn child, & at the end he slowly went into retirement cuz he had cancer, but for my family he still took care of us. I had some teeth issues, & he took me in on a Saturday, he took good care of me, & he passed that Monday, so he worked up until the day he died just for me. AZ Dental Heights, to be honest they do more quality work, & when it comes to helping me out, going out of their way, fitting me in, in emergency, & working with me on price so I've got no idea what, why some people have had bad experiences, but that's life. All of the staff, from the person who greets you to the billing and scheduling staff, the assistants to the dentist and Dr. Ahlawat himself were friendly, extremely gracious, patient and made me feel at ease and very comfortable while discussing my treatment plan. I feel confident in Dr. Ahlawats care and fortunate to have found a dentist with expertise in difficult dental issues. You can tell that he truly cares about your comfort and needs. He is kind and gentle on top of being a true dental artist. I hate going to the dentist more than anything, but this place is very easy to go to. I have had a tough time with my mouth my whole life, but Dr. Ahlawat has given me a new reason to smile and I want to recommend this office to anyone who struggles with their oral hygiene as much as I do and to everyone else who wants great customer care from their dentist. returning customer7 June 2025Had a recent consultation with Dr. Ahlawat for my dental extractions. This was a bit of a complicated case and I saw dr Ahlawat as a second opinion. I have to say he was extremely professional with great bedside manners. He explained the procedure well and put me to ease which shows his years of experience knowledge and expertise. During the day of procedure it was smooth and painless to say the least and 2 weeks out, I had a great post procedure recovery. Not only the physician, even the staff was extremely courteous and professional. The staff and physicians at this office know what they are doing and they go above and beyond for their patients. Randy Cates30 August 2023I had excruciating pain from a neglected tooth which was scheduled for attention by my regular dentist. Unfortunately on a Friday morning I started feeling pain which was increasing hourly. By the time I got to work it was clear I needed attention today. My regular dentist couldn't see me and I knew I needed to be seen by someone prior to the weekend or I'd probably be in the emergency room. I found AZ Dental and fortunately they were available for an emergency. I can't express how grateful I was and Dr. Ahlawat performed a root canal and fit me for a crown. The entire staff was friendly and professional - what a positive dental experience. I was prescribed medication in the event there was any post op pain or infection but neither was required once the anesthesia wore off. What a blessing. Thank you AZ Dental, you're my new dentist! I would recommend AZ Dental to anyone. They're the best. As a follow up. I had my crown placed a week later and experienced the same friendly, professional service I had on my first visit. The crown was a perfect fit and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Not having dental insurance I was somewhat concerned about the cost. He explained every step and made me feel very comfortable too. :) The girl at the front desk was SO sweet. I was in a lot of pain and actually started crying! I was super embarrassed about it and still can’t believe I did that but she made it seem ok and made sure I was seen as soon as possible! Just really nice, caring, hard working people at this office. Thank you so much for fitting me in and being so understanding of the urgency as I hate to be a burden to anyone or make anyones job harder than it has to be. It was the best early Christmas present! They were able to fit both of us in at the last minute (within the hour) and were extremely helpful with recommending how to best care for our teeth and solve any issues we had. They even fit me in for a last minute filling!! I am still nervous at the dentist and everyone I encountered did such a great job at being reassuring and making me feel comfortable. Wendy is a lovely person who is very knowledgeable and very kind to talk to, as well as Destiny, the dentist himself, and the front reception as well. David Talley25 August 2022Dr Ahlawat and all of the staff at Arizona Dental Heights has been outstanding!! Back in November I had excruciating tooth pain, I called and left messages with 3 other emergency dentists, then seeing Dr Ahlawat is rated one of the top denists in AZ I called Arizona Dental Heights emergency line where Dr Ahlawat answered himself and got me in immediately. After my exam and consulting with the office manager Destiny, who has been wonderful as well, and going over all options and financing I decided to have (all on 4) Dental implants. I had a 5 1/2 hour surgery and 10+ other procedures over the next 8 months. Dr Ahlawat would personally call me to make sure I was doing well after each major procedure. He always made sure I was comfortable and never in pain. He truly is an amazing dentist. My new teeth are beautiful and are like having my original teeth again. Even the hygienist Wendy is the best I've ever had clean my teeth. Dr Ahlawat and ALL of the staff at Arizona Dental Heights are the most professional, caring and informative dental practice I've ever experienced. I have a lot of restorative work in my mouth which can be a challenge for any dentist. I was in need of 3 crowns, upper front. The teeth people see first so if they aren't perfect it's very visible. But the carefully guided advice from the Arizona Dental showed that with careful procedures, I can still save some of the teeth and with much less cost. The office is so warm and welcoming and had our names on the welcome board when we came in. So cute. Frances Janis22 September 2020I came to Dr. Hatch because of the excellent reviews online and looking for a less expensive place to do my sisters implant. They offered a free consultation that included an x-ray of her mouth to see if she was a candidate for having an implant. Dr. Hatch and the staff were very thorough on the examination. His cost was 1/2 the price of another place we had gone to. We proceeded to have the implant and everything seems to be going well so far. We have to wait for 3 months for healing and then he will make the crown. My sister likes Dr. Hatch and the staff. Though it is a drive for us we will continue to see him as her regular dentist. Plus my sister has physical issue and they have a wheelchair that they provided for us. I am very confident with Dr. Hatch and his staff.Posted on Google
